Name: Krath Drak'il
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Faction: Commoner, though looking to put his magics to good use against the Gnolls by fighting along Stormwind troops in Westbrook Garrison.
Position: None
Magical Branch: Hydromancy - The Turner of the Tides
Appearance: Krath looks very much like himself. What is meant here is, sometimes, people look like something else other then what they are. This is not the case. Krath Drak'il looks very much like an innocent, passive person. He has a constant smile painted on his face, and it portrays a good person.
He has long black hair, and a shiny visage. Shiny as in he looks like a very nice person, someone you'd trust on sight. His black eyes with a slight tint of brown look very good in the background of his black hair and helpful looking face. He has wide, though not very muscly shoulders. He has long arms ending in regular sized hands and fingers. His chest is not that broad, but it has it's own pride. His upper body is slightly longer then the norm, though not too much to look unnatural. He is quite thin, and his legs, quite long provide to his height a lot.
None would ever doubt that he deals with the sometimes malicious and dreadful powers of the sea. Though he is graceful as it is and seems as calm as it too, those are the only resemblances of him and the sea itself, apart from his name. But that is a story for sometime else.
He usually dresses in dark blue robes, but he can be seen wearing just about anything. There is chain around his robe, holding the book up onto his side. He also carries around some water in a small container at his other side, seeing as he cannot conjure it.
Personality: Krath Drak'il is a very calm person, in looks and in actual personality. He is far from idiocy for he studies books everyday, where he learnt his magics, but that again is a story for another time. He goes with the flow of everything, he doesn't like to get his hands dirty, though. He'd rather pay someone or magic up some water servant to do his dirty jobs.
He is quite nice, but sometimes careful. Enough even to call it suspicious. Paranoid, maybe? Only at specific times. He might also be called a weakling, but that's because he has practically no courage. As any other human being, of course, at times he will show proof of some courage, though he really wouldn't be reffered to as courageous.
He is also quite curious, if a mystery is laid upon him, he will get to the end of it. Out of curiosity as much as prosperity. He is a silent, maybe even shy person. He will talk low, and not often. But if something spikes his curiosity, he'll be sure to look into it more. Thing is, he doesn't want any friends, anyone to hang onto. He never has, never will. To him, relations slow down his knowledge acquiring time, when he reads. He WILL keep his distances.
Weapons/Items: He bears a staff and a book, constantly at his side, if ever he might forget a spell, or if he gets free time, to read more and understand the magics he holds better. He also keeps a water container at his side at all times, to be able to use his water magic.
Strengths: Krath seems to have a natural talent at reading, learning, writing, anything of the sort. He holds his staff well, though he is a magic-weaver, he is also pretty able fighting melee with his staff.
Flaws: His curiosity is sometimes a flaw. As is his suspiciousness. But his true flaw is one thing: He can't magic up water from thin air. He has to have a source to use his magic. If in a lake, sea, river, anything like that, he is dreadful. In a desert, fruitless, weak, apart from his slight skill in using the staff.
History: Krath was born in Goldshire with regular farmer parents. He didn't want to be but another commoner, a farmer, a peasant among so many. He wanted to be something more, he wanted to help the population of Stormwind, the city he grew around, visited often. He loves his city. Therefore, behind his parents' backs, he started studying an old book he found in the attic of their farmhouse. The book was entitled; Water Magics - Learn and Perfect. He grew fond of the author, the book, and Magic. He also had a cunning ability to read, to understand what was written. Continuously defying his parents' will without them knowing, he read on and on about the magics. The book being large, even now, he hasn't finished it. When he turned 16, his parents found out about the book and stole it from him, telling him that he will never touch it again. He cried for long. The book and him grew close, and he was taken away. It felt like a whip. One day, somehow, the book called out to him. Something...lively, and lighter then blood was flowing through his veins. He was linked, somewhat tied to it. He was pulled towards the book at the age of 18, and started reading as soon as he found it. He proceeded to fall in love all with it all over again. When he was about to turn 19, he told his parents he was leaving to enroll into the army, and took much supplies with him. He became a wanderer and made little magic shows in Stormwind. He then had finally gained enough money to buy himself a house in Westbrook Garrison, and at the age of 20, moved into the fort. Currently, he is working on his magics some more, and is waiting for an opportunity to prove himself to the Captain and get enrolled.
He learnt in the book that his name, Drak'il, was the name of a mythical creature of the seas. Coincidence? He thinks not. That is one of his goals in life--finding out about his name.
RP Sample: It calls. It calls to his blood, to his veins, to every muscle of his body. It tells him to move forward, though his ears stay unused. It tells him to put a foot before the other, though his brain seems dysfunctional. He practically drools while it calls to him, telling him to move closer, though he doesn't know where it is. He moves further nonetheless, he heads closer without knowing, his bond mate coming closer every second, it calling to him. The blood flowing in his veins are invaded by something else, something more, and it feels great. He now runs towards nothing, he runs towards where his bond mate calls him to, tripping endless times, falling constantly. It does not matter anymore; he MUST get to it. He can feel it closer every time his foot sets itself in front of the other without him commanding it to do so. He does not know how he feels it, however, he knows why he feels it. It is his life, his treasure, his meaning, his way out. His way out of this stupid peasant life. Commoners, how they disgust him. So unknowledgable, so...plain. He did not want to be one of them for the rest of his life. He did not even want to be one of them right now. It's in sight. His way out of this. It's there! He grabbed his treasure,
"I haven't seen you in a while," he stated in an obsessive voice, as he clearly was.
He opened the book entitled Water - Learn and Perfect.
"You are mine again!" he lifted the book in the air, victoriously. "I will not be separated from you a second time."
A huge grin painted on his face as he regained full control of his body, he walked towards the road. Krath Drak'il is coming.
