Roleplaying Guidelines
- You will be allowed to commit carnal acts and suggestions up to a certain extent. This site is not a erotic role playing site however and as such explicit sex scenes must only be referenced and partaken in off stage.
- Characters may use vulgar language up to a point. People caught constantly using crude language for no other reason than the ability to do so shall be given two warnings to tone the language down before being given a twenty-four hour ban.
- Descriptive violence is where we shall be most lenient. This does not mean you should take the opportunity just run about having every cut and scrape ooze blood and gore. You should be as realistic and as tasteful as possible.
- All posts made in role-playing threads must consist of at least two hundred words.
- Character deaths are a reality. They should and will be a rare occurrence but there will be some situations where characters will die. That doesn't mean there can't be grand escapes or lucky dodges but if you do something incredibly stupid or are simply outmaneuvered by your enemy it is possible die. This is done to encourage caution and to make sure people put due thoughts into their actions.
- All posts made in role playing threads must be in-character. If you absolutely feel it is a must, you may make out of character comments in consort to an in-character post.
- You will need to change your display name to the name of whichever character you create.
- One need not be a straight character but note that we shall be watching such characters closely. We are aware of the dangers of opening up dozens of nerds to the possibility of lesbian characters so be warned that this guideline could change at anytime.
- You will need to make your character posts from a third person point of view.
